Rev. W. H. Hickman died unexpectedly at the home of his son in Fortville on Friday and was buried at Pennville Sunday.
Mr. Hickman visited here about a month ago and delivered the members address at Russellville.
He was active in the work of the Methodist Church being presiding elder of this district and chancellor of DePauw Univ.
He was a Veteran of the Civil War and 84 years old.
He's the uncle of Mrs. Margaret Moore and Rev. Charles Hickman. -- typed by kbz
